Hey everyone,
Here are the latest developments. First, I am aware that many of you have not yet received your surveys, and I've asked the BackerKit team to look into that. You will get a survey one way or the other eventually, I promise, and you will certainly get the items you have paid for. I apologize for any confusion. This is my first time (a) running a Kickstarter campaign, and (b) using BackerKit, so the learning curve has been a challenge, to say the least. But I will make good on what you ordered, I assure you of that.
Next, when you do receive your surveys, I've changed my mind and decided that the best course of action regarding your already-purchased add-on items will be to have you go ahead and add them on through BackerKit using the credit they give you. When they charge you extra for postage just tell me and I will credit you for it, so don't worry about getting overcharged. I think this will be the best and fastest way to synchronize what you ordered through Kickstarter with BackerKit's records. Again, I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this causes. If you have trouble with this step or have questions, do not hesitate to ask me and I will help get things straightened out.
Finally, I have created add-ons in the Backerkit store for separate sets of clean and naughty Fire & Ice prints as some of you have asked about those. It will also help those of you who ordered those add them to your existing order when you complete your surveys. If anyone should want them further broken out into the individual prints, just let me know.

BackerKit Surveys and Such

Hey there,
Two things I wanted to add. First, I re-issued the command to send out the surveys, so I hope those of you who haven't received them yet will do so shortly. Believe me, everyone will get what they ordered one way or the other, so just bear with us while we work with BackerKit to get everything right.
Second, when you do receive your survey, you DO NOT have to add anything to your order to reflect what you purchased through Kickstarter. Like I've said previously, you've already paid for your base pledge plus your add-ons, so all the survey is about is getting your mailing address and/or your email address so you'll get what you pledged for on Kickstarter. However, if you enter your add-on items into BackerKit and they charge you postage on top of what you've already paid, LET ME KNOW and I'll offset it with a credit.
I hope the rest of this goes relatively smoothly, but if you have any questions or concerns, just leave a message and I'll attend to it as promptly as I can. You are all valued backers and we greatly appreciate your support!

Quick Update About Surveys

Hi folks,
Just a quick follow-up that so far things appear to be going reasonably well with the surveys. Just a few notes:
* If I didn't already say it, the BackerKit survey will have the original item you ordered through Kickstarter, but not any add-ons you ordered during that time as we have to track those manually. Don't fret! We've still got a record of what you paid for and you'll get it! The main point of the survey is to gather your mailing address and/or email address based on what you ordered.
* This should be rare (as in, fewer than 10 people I believe), but if you see an extra charge for postage even though you did not order anything through the BackerKit store, then let me know and I'll look into it. If it's incorrect, I can issue a complimentary credit and get rid of that.
* Regarding the BackerKit store, the Fire & Ice prints are available right now only as a complete set. The reason for this is that almost no one ordered individual prints or just one variant; those who ordered them almost exclusively ordered the whole set. If we get enough requests, we'll look into breaking them out.
If you run into any issues or problems, please don't hesitate to let us know and we'll get on it.

Surveys Incoming!!!

Hey everybody,
Today we're sending out the BackerKit surveys to collect the information we'll need from you to ensure you receive what you ordered when those items are ready. Those of you who ordered digital-only items will be asked for your email address, while those of you who ordered physical items will also be asked for your mailing address. Here is an important difference: If you ordered a digital item originally but then added on a physical item, the survey may not ask you for your mailing address. If this applies to you and you aren't asked for it, then all you have to do is send that to me at [email protected] and I'll record it. Needless to say that it's important that everyone complete their surveys so we'll have the correct information necessary to fulfill your orders, so make sure you attend to yours as promptly as possible. And as always, we thank you for your support!

Smoke Test Surveys

Hey everyone,
This is just a quick note to let you know that around 5% of you will be receiving your initial surveys today. The small number is calle a "smoke test" to ensure that the survey system is operating properly. It should contain your pledge level (but not your add-ons) and, if you ordered a physical item, ask you for your mailing address so that you can receive your goods once they're prepared. If you get the survey, please fill it out so we'll know whether or not it's working. If that goes well, then we'll be sending out the rest promptly. If anything's amiss, let us know so we can look into it. Thanks in advance for your support!
